Here’s a rough sketch I have created for the Maryland Film Festival. Â The Festival is having a major fundraiser celebrating three of Baltimore’s film-making stars: Barry Levenson, John Waters and David Simon. Â I am producing special artwork for the evening which will be auctioned off to raise funds for the cause. Â I will post the final artwork in the weeks ahead!
Kal Economist cartoon
Here’s this week’s editorial cartoon from The Economist. Â I enjoyed getting the three caricatures in this drawing. Â After some false starts I think I am beginning to get the feel for Ahmadinejahd’s face now.
Kal 2010 Wall Calendar

I am now back in the blogging saddle after a long delay (some caused by technical difficulties with my website). I am delighted to be back as I have some very exciting projects to share.
First, I am delighted to announce the publication of the first ever fully illustrated wall calendar for The Economist. Â This was a herculean effort that took the entire summer to complete. Â The calendar features full page illustrations written and drawn by me. Those interested in purchasing calendar(s) can go to my online bookstore. Â Let me know what you think!
